Default help with turbo timer?

I have turbo timer (blitz, old model) installed in my other car but i accidentally pulled one of the wires (purple) when i was changing the carpet. All the functions work except for the timer itself, when i shut off the car it won't keep running. I didn't install this so i don't know how or where this wire goes. Can anybody help, thanks in advance.

Where did the wire go to?
It could be the e-brake switch wire that stops you car being driven away.

If I remember correctly on my Blitz turbo timer. THe purple wire can be a ground or run it to your parking brake. So when you let your parking brake go the timer will cut off

if it's the e-brake safety feature, just find a solid ground you can hold the wire to and see if the timer keeps the car running, that way you don't have to take apart anything yet to get to the e-brake switch

my hks timer didnt count down at all when I first put it in b/c I didnt splice the e-brake wire correctly. It is only a matter of 4 screws to take the plastic offaround the ebrake, you can just open it up and splice the wire in and you should be good to go. This is all assuming that the purple wire is supposed to go to the ebrake. That should be your fist order of business.

DYNO_QUEEN,

The purple wire goes to the speed signal wire on the ECU. You will have to check a manual. My boys 95civic just got a new greddy timer & that is what is says the purple goes too.
