no, the tranny has nothing to do with the intake.
however, it may not fit perfectly due to a different mount or another detail like that, which is why they say MT only. im sure you could still make it fit, though.

also, if you use an intake for an application other than the one they stated, you void any warranties or anything else that they offer.

I was just wondering if the auto tranny has like more **** on it to make it not fit as easy?

About the Apexi exhaust it shouldn't be over the legal limit, but it it happens to be then when you go to get inspector put on the silencer to quiet it down....

What is the general census on autos in hondas here on HT? I plan on doing a 5-speed/motor swap at some point, but I don't want to post any pics of my car if I'm just going to get blasted for my auto. Just wanted to know before hand. Thanks.

ok, then I've got three questions for you. Have you made any modifications to the auto trans(i.e. oil cooler), how strong is the stock trans, and do you race the car?

if your asking me, then
1. I changed the transmission oil right b4 turbo, and have a transmission oil cooler from B&M
2. Stock transmission is weak from what i hear, i don't know myself i'm not a transmission expert
3. race the car, of course...just not flooring it everyday and everywhere i go, but probably at least once a week.
