Default OT: My Experience with Andie at Cobalt Friction

On Friday i called up Cobalt Friction to order Axis Brake Pads, Rotors, and Stoptech brake lines. The transaction went great but when I looked at my invoice today i saw that the brake pads were $95.00 rather than the $85.00 listed on the website. So i e-mail Andie of the mistake, well 5 minutes later (probably less time and also its almost 1am) tell me that Axis raised there prices up 15-20% and he would CREDIT me the difference and would have the price changes done on the site tomorrow. His service was so awesome I just told him to keep the $10 difference and now hes sending me a shirt and hat.

All I have to say is ANDIE and COBALT FRICTION is DA BEST!!!!
I can't of think of anyone better to get your braking needs.

ANDIE is always in my book.

Wow axis all of a sudden raised it's prices on parts he had in stock?

(Kinda surprising, hey our axis brake pads are now worth 15-20% more)

Then he gives you a $10 dollar credit to which u can use to buy more **** from him

Word, great service. Is it H-T that gets a 10% discount from Cobalt or the SCCA? I got 10% off my last purchase and wasn't sure why....

I only have good things to say about Andie and Cobalt after dealing with them about a month ago. I love the GT Sport pads i got, other than the dust, and have gotten rave reviews about the car's braking ability from all the driving school instructors who have driven or driven in the car. I'll be ordering a set of the Spec VR fronts next year as well. Andie gets a from me.

Cobalt/Andie is awesome. If everyone's parts and service were like theirs, building Honda's would be a whole lot easier.

Andie and Cobalt

Had them in my profile for the longest time, hoping that more and more people would give it a look.

Just got my 2 bottles of ATE Superblue the other day, with a Cobalt t-shirt, and 2 large Cobalt stickers. Told them I wouldn't mind putting them on for track days to get them some more good customers

Only place I go for my braking needs.

Jon

Wow, that is great.
More companies should follow his example.
I've heard too many stories like someone buys a CF hood, it arrives damaged, and the store expects the customer to pay for return shipping if they want an exchange.

there was a problem with UPS when i got my Spec Miata pads, totally unrelated to Cobalt. Andie sorted out my problem, and called me back a few days later to make sure everything went through as planned.

Andie has gone above and beyond the call numerous times, hell I've even called him on a Saturday/Sunday.
