Default First pictures of my 97' Civic

so i've had my car for about a year now, and have just been doing some little mods here and there. I know its a DX, i know its slow, and i know its nothing fancy. But hey, i need a reliable car to take back and forth to college and this works!

snapped a few pictures the other day, let me know what you think.

mods:
Tein S-techs / KYB AGX
96' GSR wheels w/ Yoko ES100
Tsudo catback
ctr style headlights
diy ctr grille

..and my dads car just thrown in for kicks, i love this car.

you definitely need new wheels. anything but those! the car is straight though.

your dad's car is cool. does he drive it like it's supposed to be driven or does he leave that up to you?

Nice so far, got a soft spot for the rims

I would: minimize that wheel gap, lose the headlights, and get a front lip,

ohhh yeah and then trade your dad cars

thanks for the comments

if i had the $$ i'd paint the moldings/mirrors/handles, and i am keeping my eye out for an SiR lip since they were discontinued.

i dont really think its smart to go any lower, the roads around here suck and i dont wanna chance anything.

Oh and the STi is my dad's daily driver so he takes it easy throughout the week, but the weekend is a different story

cars looks clean and simple, but the Teins gotta go. dont get me wrong, they are good products but they didnt drop enough for me, soo i swapped them out for a Tokico/H&R setup and i like it way better, and the roads around sacramento are rough as hell, but this setup is good for everyday driving and is stiff enough for track days.

no way... everyone's got them and they are heavier... nobody really rolls on the 96's... maybe for a reason.. but i think they're awesome.

at least don't buy new rims till after you paint them and make a decision then.
