rota slipstream performance
for those that have them on their rides, i have a couple of questions:
how's the acceleration with these wheels compared to stock ones?
is your ride more responsive now?
do you notice the loss of weight with these wheels?
what kind of suspension setup are you running on with these tires?
any problems with these wheels?
thanks in advance...

please help me out here...i'm planning to buy these next week and i need some info and details about them...especially what tires to use with them...thanks...
What ever you do don't think that the wheels are going to be HUGE help. You are only dumping a few pounds going from stockers. Unless you have some huge heavy DUBS or something
Just put a set of Slipstreams on my CRX, and I notice a slight gain in acceleration. But this is due to the fact that my previous wheels where Momo Ferrari Engineering and their were @$% HEAVY! I really like the wheels, and for the price you can't go wrong. I am a little wary of the black finish, I'll have to see how it stands up...I might end up powder coating the wheels.
As far as tires go, I'm running Dunlop SP sport 5000's, I really like them...but other people have different opinions on them. It all depends on your suspension though, my BF Touring TA's on my stock rims handle great in the dry, but it's mainly beacuse my suspension is done and tuned properly (Koni's, Neuspeed Race, ST sway bars, strut bars). Hope this helps....

i have the circuit 8's on my crx. yes, they weigh 12 lbs a peice and that is not much of a difference over stock but, i have 205/50 tires on compared to the stock 185's. extra grip is worth it. with a bigger wheels you usually get more weight, here you get less weight and wider tires. sound fair to me!
