where to get EGT probe

Default where to get EGT probe

is there anywhere to get a egt probe that will work with my Autometer egt gauge? i have the gauge and the box, but no probe

also where are you guys tapping into? i was thinking right at the top of my downpipe

1. Summit racing has the probe for the Autometer.

2. I'm told about 6" after the turbo

I am not sure where you can get another probe.

You should always mount the probe on the #3 runner. The general rule of thumb from my understanding is that you should first measure the width of your runner. Then place the probe 1.5 times that from the exhuast port.

also will it hurt if i tap it into the downpipe right off the turbo?

You wont get an accurate reading there. It will read cooler. Tap it on cyl #3 it runs the hottest.

Exactly what I was going to put. The best probe I've seen yet. Never heard of anyone having any problems with it.

I'm using one of their EGT probes w/my Greddy gauge. It works great
