Default My B16 Hatch. Nothin special.

Well, first off this is my first DOHC I lost over 100whp and over 100ft/lbs from my sohc turbo setup, but I have the B16 and plenty of money left over and I love the sound Just going to leave it stock for now. The exhaust sounds like absolute ***. I'm waiting for my cat to come, then I'll probably unbolt the rear section. I don't mind loud at all, but it's too raspy/buzzy for me.
Setup is a stock B16A SIR2 with LSD tranny, light fly and ACT clutch, JDM DC 4-1 header, cheapy intake and racing medallion midsection(test pipe as well) with a knock off silencer(think it's also the cause of some rasp).
I'll be hanging out in this forum now instead of forced induction Thanks for looking. Right click save target as, for the vids.

B16

Sohc setup, day after the dyno messing around on the street

Custom throttle bracket and catch can. Have the fittings for the back of the block, just need to put them on.

So do you miss your single cam turbo, or do you like the raw top end of the B16 lol. What felt faster on the butt dyno, the single turbo or the B16 n/a?

Yea, I miss it but this is something new. Single turbo definitely felt faster on the butt dyno. No comparison Thanks for looking guys.

Nice ride man. Sometimes you have to make a change. I'm in the process of pulling my turbo out and going with a simple 'oil change' set-up. Drive from point a to point b, put gas in car, change oil. Turbo is nice, but I don't have the time to be worried about it. Only someone who has turbo or who had it can understand. Good luck with your new setup. Have fun!

ViXoN, it came with mounts, but I reused the stock rear mount and 2 front lower mounts since I filled them with 3M windo weld a while back.

Professor X, yea it's kinda nice to have a "stock" motor again. Also don't have to worry about my car being stolen as much since I don't have as much into it Good luck with your setup as well..
