CA Bay Area Shops: I have H22a4 engine parts I want installed anyone have any recommendations for sh
Hi everyone as you can see I am new to this forum and was recommended by some of my friends to ask for your professional help
.
I live in southern california, in Tustin and I recently bought:
H22 Type S pistons 11.1:1 compression
Skunk2 Stage2 camshafts and the whole valve train upgrade
Exedy stage1 - Oraganic full face clutch w/ Fidanza H22 flywheel
I am sticking with my stock rods for the pistons cause its stock type S pistons anyways I didnt find it nessicary to get new rods (open to opinions as well), and I probably need the sleeve honed and have the lower block leveled for the new head gasket.
I am trying to find a reliable shop that would put these in for me for a GOOD price; that will take liability for the work they do, cause its a huge amount of money im putting in to my car i dont want them to go "oops too bad gotta, get a new engine
"
If you guys could give me the approx. pricing (w/ labor seperate from job pricing), how long it would be in the shop to do all the work, and where it could be done, please let me know. I highly appreciate it, thank you.
