DO USDM H22s come with LSD...if so how to tell....??thank you
hello...im buying a h22 usdm ...off of a 97 prelude how do i know if it has LSD...the guy selling it is telling me that it has LSD...........help...how do i tell if it has it?? or doesnt...what are things to look for?

It might have an aftermarket lsd like Quaife, Kaaz, or Phantom Grip. If you don't want to take a bunch of parts off to check, just try a burn-out on dry pavement. See if it leaves twin tire marks.

LSD was an option for the 4th gen Prelude VTEC but is VERY RARE.
5th gen USDM preludes were not offerred with LSD, so you might want to ask how he got it in there, cause it's not stock. Also get the tranny code, it's on a sticker with a barcode on it on the tranny by the flywheel plug.

NO USDM DOES NOT COME WITH LSD....
ONLY JDM 92-96 4th gen lude comes with 1 engine code M2b4
but my 5th gen got 1
thats my tranny...

I was wondering if this was true? Were usdm 4th gen's offered with a lsd? If so what was the tranny code m2b4?

NO USDM NEVER MADE A LSD tranny....
only 4th gen offered was 4WS
