I need a wire to go from the distributor to go to the coil. The problem is that even the MSD wire is only about 16 inches long. I want to mount the coil behind the passenger side headlight....

Any suggestions?

 

I don't know if this helps at all, but this is where I had mine and I have way too much coil wire. Even if mounted behind headlight, I think it would fit, but this is on an EG civic. I believe msd has different lenght coil wires, did you check through them?

 

Holly excess, Man i have an extra crimper/stipper i got with my msd ignition i can send you, just pay the shipping. Your loosing current with all that extra.

 

Yeah I got two extra sets myself. I plan on doing it on the new setup. That wire came pre-crimped and everything and I didn't feel like messing with it at the time, then I just kinda forgot. Thanks for the suggestion and the offer. That is the reason I love this board

Haha, i supposed if you really wanted it. Prob no more than 8 inches, I'm sure you could always electrical tape them together

 

haha....thats alright, I need about 4 more inches for slack... I can hook it up, Im just worried abou the engine twisting and ripping it out...
