yes it is.. ask him what was stolen from it. salvage titles decrease the value of a car a good deal. If it didn't have that salvage title then it might be worth it.

Salvage title will not worth that much because you never can get market value.
Most people avoid it since who know what headache you buying from an accident or thief recovery. You better have an expert evaluated with a fine comb before even consider it.

agree the salvage title is a big concern if you decide to sell the car later on chances are you will take a big hit in selling price

if you ever try to sell the car afterwards, you will be sorry.
but yeah, salvage in the US usually means the car is worth the parts of the car.
so if you add the motor/frame/wheels/suspension together, probably around 9-10k max.
