Default cat back too big?

on 2000 GSR, 3 in. piping going back is that takeing away from my low end power?

what size do you suggest?
also 4 - 2 - 1 headers or 4 -1?

buy my jdm 4-1 and carsound. i would get 2.5 inch, leaves some room for improvement.

Id say a 2.5 in or less. If you are doing just mild bolt ons, a 2.25 or 2.36 (60mm) will be just fine.

between 4 2 1 and 4 1 whats the difference . one is low end and one is high end?

Only if you're getting a "cookie-cutter" header. The custom ones like SMSP, Hytech, DTR, etc. combine the performance of both designs to achieve a broader powerband.

Comptech header also gains mid-range & high end just like SMSP, Hytech, etc.
