B18C6 headstuds
OK I just took some pics as I figured that I also got some AEBS studs for B18C.
The pics show the difference between AEBS and ARP studs. The top one is AEBS and bottom ARP. The AEBS is for B18C and ARP B16A. As you can see the AEBS is a tad longer as it has the dimple at the end. The AEBS also seems to have more thread at the top end (left of the pic). The obvious difference in design is the dimple on the AEBS but as for the difference in thread depth, I'm uncertain as to whether this is beacuse one is for B18 and the other for B16 or its just the differences in the design. So my question is will the ARPs (supposedly for B16A) fit onto my B18C6????

Well the B16a and B18C6 heads are basically the same so the ARP's should work.
And as for the pistons, it will work just as well in your engine as the bore, stroke and rod specs are the same on these engines. It's basically the same blocks with small differences in the internals. You will get slightly lower CR in your B18C6 than in the B18C1 because of the higher cc (42,7 vs. 41,6).

The ARP headstuds for the B16A are different than the B18C headstuds. Remember that the B16A has a shorter deck height than the B18C...7mm shorter. Therefore you will want to use headstuds made specifically for the B18C engine.
