After I filled my gas tank, i was driving to work to start delivering pizza. My guages then start going crazy, tach was going on and off, speedometer was doing the same, my clock started flashing, dimming, going off, and flashing. I continued to drive somemore, then i parked it behind work. I turned the car off and started it again, it turns over and starts then shuts off right away no matter if i give it gas or not, i eventually got it going again...pure luck, then i took it around the block and the car seemed like it was losing power.

I don't think it is the battery, cuz it gives plently of power to the stereo and what not, what could the problem be, i've towed it to a garage hopefully they'll figure it out, but that might not be for a few days. Any ideas??? Ignition Switch? could it be the alternator, fuel filter/pump, electrical, anyone had this problem before, i checked the air filter and its super clean, Oil is full as is the gas, and rad fluid. Oil temp is not high or anything. Anyone have any input? Desperately need help.

what year is your accord, could be a bad alternator

 

I would say it sounds like an ignition switch..what year is the accord ??

94 lx manual tranny.

Could be a bad ground or loose battery terminal connections too.

 

terminals are good, they are both new, the other ones were all corroded, so i had them changed.

I just had a stereo (deck) installed do you suppose it might be something with the fuse box??

 

check all fuses

..and im still saying its your ignition harness

 

i was thinking from the research i was doing that it may be the ignition switch, i've heard other things too like the Main Relay.

Anyone else's car have symptoms like this?
