i'm gonna change my header sometime soon and don't want to get stuck in the middle. i'm pretty sure my bolts are rusted bad on the cat-header, so i'm probably not going to be able to reuse them. can i get the header to cat bolt at any kragen auto storre or do i have to go to the honda dealer. i have a pic and it looks like a bolt spring and a nut. where did you guys get it? or did you reuse it

 

Any muffler shop will have them in stock or the dealer. Not sure about the regular autoparts store, they may not know what the bolts look like, take that pic with you to the store. I reused the springs and nuts, bolts were too rusty for my liking.

 

Just get really long bolts, nuts, springs, and washers. No need for "special" cat-to-header bolts if you can't find any.

 

The springs may not have enough tension to keep it all together for long. Double nut (jamb nut) those suckers so it doesn't come apart.

 

You can go buy them at napa for like $5.

 

oem header-cat bolts from honda are 8 bucks each.
