hey intenseEK if everyone is selling there x's then that make them just like the people who are going to buy the rotas. because if they bought the rims they liked it wouldnt matter if everyone had copies.

Driving down the street to see 100 other Civics on the same wheels is annoying as hell. With the authentic wheels, that doesn't happen, with the Rota's, it does. When I bought my Type X wheels, the lightweight design was the first factor, but having something a little different played a big role as well.
Bottom line, as a small business owner, having your product copied and sold for profit is the worst. The development that goes into designing something, only to have someone else come along and steal (yes, I said steal, let's be honest here) the design sucks. But they're making money, and that's all the matters in big business.

Be realistic guys.... yes rota copies the LOOK of the originals but when compared to Mugen or Spoon they are not on par with quality. For the people who are serious and need every little ounce of help, they will still buy the high end forged wheels.
Rota just gives people who don't have tons of cash to blow on wheels FOR THE STREET, the opportunity to get the LOOK that they like. Especially when they copy a cast wheel and make it lighter than the original.
Also, some people honestly don't know brands like Mugen. for example: At JLB we had a Miata owner interested in C8's because he liked the design, not because he was dying to get the Mugen look

my point was that if you actually liked your rims. why would you sell them? even if a lot of people had them. if i spent ungodly amounts on somethin then i would have to like it. i wouldnt sell it because everyone had it. that makes you look like you follow trends, and yes getting rid of somethin because of other people is following trends. your car should reflect what you like not what you like because it is not on other peoples cars.
