USDM Gsr Head on a B16a ?
worth it....ehhhhh. only if you can get that intake manifold from him. gsr heads and b16 heads are practically the same except for the one of the intake manifold pressure sensors,i forgot wtf its called. damn memory
keep the b16a head. The b16a will flow better. Why do you think people put b16a head son a b18c1 blocks. poor mans type r.
So dont buy gsr head unless your going to turn around and sell it for more.

Yes it will make a big difference as far as I am concerned. I have seen it done on a 90' crx si and it made the world of difference. The GSR head flows just as good as the B16a + it has better cams. One thing that the dumbass above didnt tell you is that the combustion chamber on the GSR head will create more compression than that of the B16 because it is shaped just like the Type -R. JMO though.

The combustion chamber on a GSR is not the same as a Type R the GSR has a pent roof chamber giving it more compression.

what are u talkin about....the b16 head the same cast as a type-r head..
and flows better then the gsr head(mid-high power).so just get the gsr cams..</TD></TR></TABLE>
Acutally i believe the GSR flows better midrange and the B16 flows better top end. I remember seeing a flow chart here on HT for both of them stock and it was either the GSR flowed better in Midrange and the B16 Top end or the other way around.
I would get the GSR head thoguh because of the pent roof chambers.... and yes it will bolt up.
