S2 shifter length vs Stock Shifter length?
I was wanting to know how much shorter the actual length of a Skunk2 shifter is compared to stock? I'm about to pick up a Single bend S2 shifter and I was wanting to know if I will have to shift with my finger tips or if it just a tad shorter then stock?
thanks.
thanks.
The single bend and dual bend are stock height, just reduced throw which is how it should be designed IMHO.
I don't care for the DC and the like that shorten the height of the shifter as well. I had the dual bend in my old 99 Si and loved it. Can't go wrong with a counter weighted **** either.

Personally I'd like the **** to be about 5 inches higher than where it sits now. Too much of a trip for my hand to get from the wheel to the ****.
I got the skunk2 shifter, it's the same height as the stock piece except for the bottom portion which has a little longer piece which will shorten the throw hence the name: short shifter.

K, I've got the concept of a short throw. I just wanted to know that height difference. Thanks guys, now I'm about to go install it.
