is this my s2s1 cams causing this problem

Default is this my s2s1 cams causing this problem

i just got my motor up and going, it a h22a in a hatch..i know i know, so original. but anways, once i finally got teh clutch broke in i began to mess with vtec. it pulls very hard till i hit vtec, then the revs slow along with the acceleration. i go tthe cam gears set at 0,0. do i jsut need tunned, and what could i do to fix the prob

mods are as followed
s2s1 cams
skunk2 cam gears
intake
str tb
hondata manifold spacer
and 2.5 exhaust

please help

Get it tuned. Check your a/f. did you change your vtec crossover? p13 stock?

have no way of checkin my af.. they vtec kicks in around high 5000's like 5800 or so....and the stock p13 as well

Tuning is definately an issue. in fact if you do not know what your AF ratio is I would refrain from the High RPM's. Also what is your compression? if you have stock h22 compression then you might be over camming the engine a bit.

i have stock jdm compression 10:6 if im not mistaken...they are only stage one's so i dont hink im really over camming the motor. so what would u suggest for a/f ratio..i have a vafc, havent really been able to play with it to much though, the directions came in japanese

Definitely keep it at Zero until you can get it tuned. You can make a few runs on a dyno and use their A/F meter to check your motor's performance. Only then can you begin to tune...otherwise you're just guessing really.

BTW, I would check your timing again...there's a possibility that when you changed cam gears, you installed the timing belt off a tooth or something. You could be running up to 5-15 degrees retarded, if that's the case. It's happened before to a few people I know...

cool well i guess i will just go ahead and buy a B&m fpr and get that piece tuned....they use a wideband , correct
