Default a scion xb, please comment.

this is a scion xb on the web somewhere. i said i wasn't too fond of the
HRE wheels, i said it's not worth it.
his commentary in reply was:
not worth it if you can't afford it..

i just wanna know what other people's opinions are.
btw, they are 19" custom made HRE's.. 19x7.5 and 19x9

HRE's are pricey.. but they're not made for ordinary cars.. mostly for exotics.. they usually run $4k+ for 19's.. not worth it for a $20k kaa..

edit: there was one in MN a couple months back from CA, even before it was released for MN.. the dealer that had it was listing it for $20K. i went to go check it out and it was AT.. ok.. but not impressive..

I think it looks pretty good. I remember when those things first came out. I hated them at first but seeing about 15 a day they are starting to grow on me. I think the new scions look pretty sick though.

97x7.5mall? I've seen smaller wheels with a bigger width.

the wheels are pimpsauce... but not necessarily on the scion... but perhaps it just seems ridiculous to have a set of HRE's on any sort of economy car...

"Ok guys, this is what were going to do... Take everything weve learned over the years about aerodynamics and do the exact oposite"

The Scion is an eye sore...

My GF loves them, in her words... "Its cute"

Looks like like Im going to be stuck with one in my driveway pretty soon

Staggered wheel sizes, on a FWD car, and lemme guess the wider wheels are in back?

I think the xB's are ugly as hell, but the new tC, now THAT is a sweet looking car. What's wierd is the xB is about 600 lbs lighter than the tC coupe. But the tC will have a 2.4L VVT-i I4 vs. the xB's 1.5L I4.

HRE's are overpriced and overrated....there are many instances of quality problems like chipping and hairline cracking on some HRE wheels...Some of it is coming from BMW and NSX owners....Not the kind of stuff that should be happening on 5,000 dollar wheels.
