That seems to be the biggest problem for me (cause I have the hasport units). Ryan

hehehe, Bay Area B18C/CRX owners unite!!!

I was also hoping to install my Skunk2 built B18C in the next month or two, but some stuff happened at work so my install will be delayed. If only I had gone with a completely bone stock GSR swap I would be installing it right now.

I've got a bunch of pics that I've been taking from my engine assembly. I will also be taking a bunch of pics throughout the install and ifI do my own install, I'll do my own writeup as well.

6 months!!! LOL ....thats quick compared to my cousin....We JUST put his B16 in his STD hatch two days ago and he bought the motor last year in Feb.! Man, but i think its a lil sweeter when you wait a while though...you get used to seeing the motor and all the parts lifeless in the garage... and when you finally see them working....it just gets emotional..

Heres the car..

I had my motor for 8 months until it went in! After you hear VTEC engage for the first time all the time you spent waiting all pays off

damn, I wont be able to make the CRXpo this year because I might be out of country. If I'm still around though, I'll do my best to make it there. I've had your sit in my bookmark folder for a really long time now. I've been using you steps to help me figure out how I'm going to do my install.

Yah, hopefully I'll be able to do the swap and have all the parts I need. I had to assemble the block with a bare head and a bunch of missing parts. Luckily I have a FSM handy so finding out what parts I need is pretty easy.

I know how you feel. My CRX has been parked since early January. I finally got all the parts to rebuild the motor and it should get bolted into the car soon. Too bad I still need more stuff before I can fire it up. lol

i've been trying to swap in my B18c since last nov.!! and i still do not have all the parts here yet. i help'd out droppedcrxsi with my parts list way back when.(1SIKCRX aka KAOS from the resource!)

at this point in the swap i want to give in and sell it all off!! but i won't. it's very discourageing(spelling?) when it takes this long to do the swap.

well my story is a little different. I never planned on going b18c1 simple because i thought i never was going to afford it. One day my buddies needed to sell his swap due to some debt issue so I bought for a good deal.
I was orginally going either d16a6, b16a or b20. simply because they were more affordable.

it's been 2.5 years since i got the motor from him...
1.5 year since I had my tiens SS still in box.....
1 year since I have my apexi turbo kit....
1.5 year since i got my full WW kit....
This year is my year, nuff said.
