Default si tranny fu<ked? stuck in 2nd

Hey guys...I was wondering if you might be able to help me with my tranny. I can't figure out what is wrong with it. Yesterday I raced a 92 hatch with a b16a2 swapped in it. We go to pull on the highway and we race....well sux for him because this is the first time he takes his car out after his b16 swap...well come to find out, he didn't lock his hood pins....so guess what? WOOOSH...there goes his hood smacking his windshield and ******* up his roof. Anyway....at the same time, I was stuck in second gear...it will NOT shift out of gear. My boy jordan looked under the car and the shift linkage is fine...there isn't any noise coming from the tranny. The clutch still goes in fine...but the car will not come out of second. You can shift through the gears while the cars off but it still stays in second. For example, you can put the car in 5th or reverse or 4th, it doesn't matter, start it and take off slowly (riding the clutch because it's in second). But, while i am driving the car, i cant shift througth the gears at all...it won't pop into any of the gears. but as soon as i come to a stop, i can shift through the gears...even tho it's still in second....meaning, i can drive around with the car in neutral but the car is still stuck in second..its wierd as ****....I really think that the shift rod inside the tranny that bolts to the shift linkage broke and isn't connected to the shift linkage (but the linkage under the car is still connected just fine). does anyone have an answer for this? help me out...(by the way this is IMPORTSCRX not SIMPLYPINOYY...im just using his SN)
