My setup as follows, currently doing the swap.
1992 Civic DX HB
2001 OBD2 B18C swap running a JDM 95 OBD1 P72 ECU.

Question is can just remove the EVAP purge selenoid completely and cap off the line to the TB? Will this throw a CEL? I don't wanna hassle with runnin another wire to A20 on my ECU. any help would be appreciated! Thanks

 

you can unplug it and cap it off, the jdm ecu does not look for the evap purge solenoid so you will not get a CEL, its only to put air into the gas tank when gas is pulled out.

 

dont all usdm 92-95 civics have evap purge solenoids? my 93 cx had one
