Default The Truth About LIMP MODE !!!

Anyone have a 100% for sure answer as to whether or not any emissions related CELS will throw the computer into Limp Mode. I've heard so many different answers as to what CELS cause limp mode and what don't. I'm getting CEL 67, and as long as it's not going into limp mode, I won't worry about the darn light being on.

Thanks in advance guys!

Whos: No VTEC. The Rich/Lean code can cause LIMP mode from a too tight valve adjustment. That's the only code I have personal experience with that caused my honduh to go into limp mode..

The MAP Sensor code(don't know the #) always used to put my Civics into limp mode, Secondary O2 code never put them into limp mode. BTW, they we're turbocharged with test pipes.(and yes, I plan on using cats from now on

not only no VTEC but severe bogging while driving due to a short in the VSS

When in limp mode, i observed that the ecu dumps huge amounts of fuel and the idle is fast idle. As mentioned already you will be bogging a whole bunch
