question for anyone with a boosted 6th gen
hey, I have a question for anyone with a boosted 6th gen 4cyl. what are you guys using for fuel management. I have a kit that came with the two extra injectors and an FMU. is this sufficient to safely boost at 5 psi? if you don't think so, what would you suggest, I am under no real time constraints to get this all done, so i would be willing to look around for any parts you would suggest. also, if the set-up i described should be safe, don't send me on a spending spree please.
two extra injectors AND an FMU? What's there to control the extra injectors?
you can use one of those (if something's there to control the injectors) but not both
I ran an FMU/inline pump/missing link combo for ~ 7 months or so, it's safe as long as you use the inline pump (A/F checked on a dyno w/ wideband), but I've since switched to the AFC hack and it's much better

ya, there is an injection control system for the extra injectors. i will only keep this system until i can get some bigger primary injectors and an E-manage system.
