Calculating BHP
Well I really want to know what flow rate injectors I'm going to need to get for my hi-comp LS/VTEC. It's late and I'm fried for the day, so I figure I'll just post and not think any. What formula/figures would I need to estimate my brake horsepower to use in calculating injector flow rate. I searched and found nothing.

There's an article in the current issue of GRM ALL about injectors.
Formulas, flow rates, impedence, etc.
It's the issue with the 240Z on the cover.

I'll have to pick that up, it'll probably kill a bunch of my curiousity. But the real question is how can I make a crude estimate of what my brake horsepower output will be? Perhaps using CR, dispacement and/or any other factors? anyone know of any formula?

Just get the May 04 issue of GRM it will explain it all. It seems your formula is putting the cart before the horse, You can't figure flow rates that way.
GRM say you need to know what the BSFC is first, before you do anything else.
