buffering scraches out
there are some places on my rear fender where the clear coat and paint got scratched out, my question is how should i go about buffering it out?
should I get some realy really fine sand paper, and sand it all down a bit and then paint it with some clear coat? If so what kind of clear coat should i use?
Thanx for helpin me keep my car lookin clean

if both the clearcoat and paint got scratched out, buy a touchup pen, and follow the instructions. use 1500+ grit sandpaper when you wetsand. they also make clearcoat pens. easy stuff.

It'll probably be easier to "buff" them out

then i dont know if wetsanding should be the thing for you, go to an autobody shop and ask some questions, then decide from there
