Default Exedy CLUTCH - what is the difference between thick and thin..?

I have a #08900B which is the thin plate and my friend has a #08950B which is the thick plate. What is the difference? And does anyone know how long it last, pressure etc? Also does anyone know how offen an aluminum flywheel last (flex to heat, wear etc)? thx

The thin will spin up faster when you shift gears making it eaiser on your syncros because the disc is lighter.. The think has better resistance to heat from what im told..
