Default Oil and A/C

Hey everyone. I'm kinda new to how a/c works but I went to the auto store and wanted to buy a a/c refill kit cause my a/c is not cold anymore. At the store, i saw many kinda stuff for a/c such as oil, dye, uv... I was wondering do I need all that especially the oil one? And can someone teach me about the dye and uv stuff and how they work? Thanks for all the help.

I believe that they make that for AC too. You might want to invest into it if you feel that after recharing your system, there isn't much improvement in the situation. Basically, the dye flows through your ac compressor and its lines and wherever there's a leak, it comes out. You flash the UV light around the fittings, lines, compressor, etc. and see where it leaks and repair

is it necessary to add a can of oil everytime you recharge the refrigerant?
