alright guys i have an LS in my civic and currently have 2.25" catback. would this diameter still be sufficient if i were to run a T3 turbo at 7lbs? yes/no will suffice. thanks

 

bigger is better in every turbo case.
yes it will work............. but it would work better with larger piping like 3in

 

To answer your question, 2.25" piping is sufficient.

 

2.25 is good enough but you'll notice a few extra hp with larger piping (less back pressure)

As has been said, it would be "sufficient" however you would be losing some power vs. say a 2.5" If you're going to be slowly stocking up parts for a turbo setup, you should sell the 2.25" and buy a 2.5" because you can probably do it and break even on price. Completing a setup is all about the little gains here and there.
