I hate to sound stupid, but how do you remove the bumper lens on a 97 accord?
A while ago, I gave my friend a hand putting clear corner and bumper lenses onto his 93 accord (well, gave a hand figuratively, we figured it would be good to have more than one person until we found out how easy they are to install). So I finally decided to get corner and bumper lenses for my 97 accord, and the corners went on without a hitch, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to get the stock bumper lenses off... on the 93, the little screw was exposed just to the side of the lens nearest the center of the car, but i don't see any exposed screws on mine. Thanks in advance
im drawing a blank at this point, but did you try looking up under the bumper...you may have to remove the splash guard.
I think its the same way...look towards the inside of the bumper. If not get a screwdriver and LIGHTLY pull the bumper lens out. First thing I would do if you haven't already is buy a manual haynes, chiltons, helms etc it will help you out
ARE YOU TALKING about the front long lenses actually on the bumper?
if so there should be one screw and they come out.

there are pictures and a How To in the owners manual. there is one screw for each lense. look right inside the lower grill and there is a hole. put a long philips head screwdriver in there and loosen the screw. now slide the lens towards the middle of the car (or push it that way, its not going to move inward, but it will slide out...kinda hard to explain). just mess around with it til it comes out. not hard at all. hopefully that helps.
Aha! I didn't realize the screw was that far back. When i stuck in a screwdriver to feel around, it didn't hit anything, so i figured the scew was somewhere else. After grabbing a longer screwdriver, i managed to remove the lenses. Thanks a lot!
