16x7 rims on a 1.5"-2" lowered 88 honda CRX
Hi guys, I know this topic has been covered but Im quite lazy to find the information. I want to know if some 16x7 (wrapped in 205/50/16) will fit on a Honda CRX lowered 1.5-2" (F & R). Will they be able to fit? (if not I can also go 15" wrapped in 195(205)/55/15. Please tell me what is possible without having the wheels rub into the fender while turning. Your replies are appreciated.

Heh, Just really wanna know what profile is best to use. I heard 40 rides rough, 45 might rub. Might go with 15"s - I like to have meat on my tires and nice sidewalls. Post your nice tire combos also
I am pretty sure they will fit but they might rub a little. I got 15's with 195/50/15's and about a 1.75" drop at the most and it doesn't rub at all.
i got skunk2 coilover dropped nice (to the max almost) and i ogt 16X7 i would get 215 series because the 205 look kinda skinny compared to the rim and my 205 dont rub at all

I would think that 205/50-16s would rub due to the fact that they are too tall for the car. Unless you get the offset dead on, I think you will have rubbing issues up front.
205/45/r16 would be the correct size for that combo. most people use the 205/40/r16 to gain some extra clearence just incase, but i've used the 45 with no problems.
