450whp@19 PSI....finally
Well after all the hard work, and ALL the mishaps...i just made just over 450@19 psi...
we had to stop there because the spring wont let me go any higher. i jsut ordered a new spring and will be going for 5-600whp...
this is in a street car that still has a/c!
let me tell you THIS BITCH IS FAST!
it made 402 on pump gas, and the 450 run was on 5 gal of 110, 3 gal of 93, so around 104 octane.
setup:
h22a1 block sleeved w/custom badger turbo dieasel sleeves.
90 mm 9.xx(9.5, but i grinded out the exhaust valve pockets for my valves)endyne rollerwaves
thick cometic head gasket
the thing is the engine has been decked and milled so much i estimate about 10.5+:1(210 psi on compression test)
eagle rods, w/arp 2000 bolts
king bearings
full rotating assembly balanced
balance shafts disconnected
arp main studs
.5mm oversized ferria valves
duel ferria valve springs
ferria tit. retainers
crower stage 2 turbo intake cam
arp headstuds
stock exhaust cam
skunk2 cam gears
hondata intake mani. gasket
stock intake manifold
p72 hondata s100
walbro 255 hp
160# injectors
stock fuel rail and fpr
msd 6a (digi 6 took a crap on me)
clutch master 10# flywheel
act xtream pp, organic disc.
m2b4 jdm lsd tranny
turbo setup:
garret 60-1, t3 .82 a/r turbine, .70 a/r to4s compressor
drag gen 4 mani(sucks for anything under 15 psi)
tial 40 mm wasgate, on elbow to bored gen mani mount
max rev universal 2.25" intercooler piping
spearco intercooler
hks ssq blowoff
ill add more as i remember
Heres the sheets
15 psi, pump gas, this isnt the final dyno sheet, we cleaned up the a/f ratio:

19 psi 104 octane:

I wouldn't worry about the wastegate spring, buy a nice boost controller instead. What trim turbo are you running?</TD></TR></TABLE>
t3 60-1, .82 turbine .70 t04s compressor. i
have an avc-r...thats why we could squeeze 19 psi out of a 6 #(not 8) spring.i already ordered a 1 bar spring(14.5 psi).
going to tune to 25-30 psi when that come in. i want 550-600 off the turbo, then i may spray like 50-100 shot.

The turbo is definetely capable of mid 500 numbers. If you are using a 35mm wastegate, then get rid of it. That would be why you are starting to have problems around 19psi.
That's a pretty huge turbo you have. I'm guessing spool comes in around 5k rpms? Dyno chart? As far as nitrous goes, don't waste your money. You'll never use that increased power and if you ever do you'll never get traction.

i hit boost just over 2k, i hit 15 psi at 5k, it jumps like crazy after that cause of vtec...
im using 40 mm wastegate on drag mani bored out to match.
your right about the n20, ill probly just put a small shot to spool quick, when im dragging.
ill post dynos as soon as i get them scaned...
i just swtiched on my bf drags, so im going to see if i can get traction before 4th.

I guess I should have stated when your car starts to take off, not spool. I was right about 5k though
Also, don't run 402whp on pump gas ever again. The H series have bad MSBC's compared to the B series motors. I advise only 350whp on pump gas with an H series motor.

We have 93 here as well. I won't tell you what to do, but I highly advise listening to my advice on the MSBC. Ed is a good guy but not the absolute best in my books. Just curious, how much did he estimate your set-up was going to make?

ya i will prob keep it safe. we mad 402@ 15#. ill prob run 12-13 on the streets.
we were thinking around 5-550, but we werent counting on the wastegate stoping at 19#.
i just borrowed a scanner, so ill scan everything, and edit up top...
