Default skunk2 or str ?

Which would you guys recommend for cam gears ?

ive read numerous posts and i have gotten mixed reviews. Ive read that as long as they are name brand and NOT AEM.

Please let me know what you guys have experienced.

Thanks

From both a tuning aspect and non-slippage I would go with the STR's. The degree marks are easy to read and I have yet to see them slip on hte dyno or daily driving... :knocks on wood:

I have STR adjustable cam gears on my H22-Civic. They're holding up well. My only complaint (which you won't have to worry about, since you're in CA) is that the adjustment bolts that lock down the cam gear, they are developing surface rust.

This sucks, especially if your valve cover is cut, leaving the cam gears exposed. Doesn't look too nice with rust.

To STR: Are there stainless steel bolts available? Just kinda sucks that after 1 year, being stored away from winter, I find rust on the bolts.
