hey guys..sorry for wasting ur time on this post if its a simple answer...i did search..and i did ask a few friends to help me search on ht as well. i found an apexi n1 exhaust from a eg coupe. i was wondering will it fit my eg hatch. and if its not a direct fit...will a simple cut do the trick? thanks in advance.

 

it should most likely or if not you might just need some minor modification..

 

No it will not fit, and to mod it just isn't worth the time, unless you've got a lot of it and have worked with stainless steel before. The exhaust systems for HBs are shorter and have different pipe bends.

i modified the exhaust off a hatch to fit my sedan.

to make the coupe exhaust fit the hatch.

cut pipe off from muffler 2" away from the muffler. this is to allow plenty of pipe to weld to. then cut apraximatly 8" off the axle back section, and 4 inchs off of the pipe running to the tip. then just reweld it back together and your done. (depending on the lengh of the muffler, your cuts and welds will be differant.)

thanks for the replys guys. I been a lil iffy on buying so i mite tell the seller that i have to flake. i figured i would run into some complications....i just wanted to know if it was worth it. i dont think 300 is worth it if i have to do custom. oh well...thanks

 

I have a coupe exhaust on my hb. Just take it down to a welder and have them cut the part of the pipe that goes over the axel.Just shorten it up a little bit. I have a skunk 2 exhaust for a coupe and it fits perfect now.
