ALpine cda-9835 or cda-7998?

which would u guys recomend?i can get the 7998 for 399 off crutchfield, and i got a local seller willing to sell me the 9835 for 400 out the door?what u guys think?

The 7998 has no internal power, so you will NEED outboard amps. Other than that they are essentially the same headunit. Where can you get the 9835 for $400?

thats what they go for on ebay. sounds like a dealer is selling to you at cost

well guys i just finished getting the cda-7998, got it for 379.99 off of crutchfield, they gave me 20 bucks off cause a friend refered me and i got a code from him, ill keep u guys posted, if u guys want the code, pm with details, cant go wrong for 379.99, for a radio that used to retail for 800 bucks

Now ima go to work and pick up a mtx 4channel amp we got, maybe my manager will give it to me cheap
