when we pulled out the a/c out of my brothers car we let it out...but everyone stayed away and it smelled really bad. Don't think thats helping the huge hole in the OZone layer!

 

it's illegal to let r12 out into the atmosphere. it can also kill you if you inhale too much of it. that being said, it is totally up to you.

 

Well the way that I see it.. I called the EPA when I needed to remove the a/c in my crx and they told me that I needed to pay someone to remove it from the system.. I told them that I wasnt going to pay for it and if they cared they would do that kind of stuff for free..

In the end and I just cut the line and let it go.. If a govt. agency doesnt care about it why should I..
