Default Check engine light problem!

My check engine light came on today, and the car i runs like crap. The weird thing is that afterjumping the harness, the light doesn't blink at all . The car was running perfectly fine yesterday with no problems or check engine light....... has this ever happend to anyone? I always thought jumping the harness would give you the problem code.

Setup: 01 GSR, basic turbo kit, hondata s200b, p72 ecu, blown90hatch harness, 580cc injectors, stock map, oem honda resistorbox
(ran fine since it was boosted and tuned a month or so)

could it be a bad harness or ecu?? I've checked over the engine and everything seems to be fine

does the car stumble and stutter? maybe the ecu is seeing boost im not familiar with hondata enough to know that. if not are you using a missing link/ check valve.

Afriend of mine with a drag turbo kit, used to throw map sensor codes and the car would stummble hard ocne in boost and almost die casue the ecu was seeing boost at least we thought. 3 missing links (checkvalves later) i decided to check the v-afc wiring and boom there it was

the car definatly stumbles and stutters....i tried driving it to my mechanics place up the street and it felt like the injector wires were in the wrong order LOL. Another member had said he has experienced this w/ a few bad ecu's i'll try idling it w/ the stock ecu and see what happends. Thanks guys

can you use a code reader with the hondata program? if so then you can rent one from schucks and it will plug into the harness and read the code for you.

yeah i was wondering the same thing about being able to pull codes w/ a hondata setup. This is really weird because i came back from school a few mins ago, took out the ecu/hondata box to make sure everything was ok. Which it was, since the light in the blue box was steady. Tried to start it up and it ran fine, no code or anything. The only thing i can think of being different in the two times i tried to start it is that the car was in direct sunlight in the morning and the cabin was really hot, and now it was relatively cool. not sure if that's the cause or what it would even do though, any thoughts?
