Default H22A & 50 shot wet N20

Im getting n2o for my H22A 1993 Prleude 2.2 Vtec (JDM).

Im gonna go to just a 50 shot to start with

What will I need to upgrade if anything, compression is 10.0:1 or 10.6:1 (Ive been told its 10.0:1 but in a specification online it said 10.6:1 so Im not sure which). As its only a small amount of N2O will I be ok with everything being stock for now? Obviously Id rather be safe then sorry so if theres anything that might not be up to the job Id rather change it now.

colder plugs, and you might want to retard the ignition a little.
your fuel will probably be alright for a 50 shot,
but if you decide to go bigger then you might want to upgrade
like a bigger fuel pump, fpr, and maybe some engine management

You'll need NGK#: BKR7E plugs.
You'll also need a purge kit and a bottle heater.

Dont for get to keep your bottle pressure around 900psi with the heater 1000 to 1050 max. With the summer temp becarefull it will spike on you very quickly. Also if you have a Sunoco near buy that sells 100 octane at the pump its also a good thing.

Waiting on David at SMSP to get that header to me, then it's off to get tuned with the Hondata.
Still taking people's money out on the east coast?

A good rule of thumb w/ nitrous is to retard your timing 1 degree for every 25hp of the shot. (i.e. 50 shot 2 degrees)

I agree with bottle heater, and plugs. But purge kit isn't a must from what I've experienced. If you need to purge, just do a quick spray before to clear the lines. Free purge right there, right into the intake.

Haha, you're shitting me right? The nitrous that is sitting in your lines after you make a pass turns to gas, which doesn't possess the same amount of oxygen as liquid nitrous(ie. your AF ratio takes a jump off the rich end). The only way to get all of the crappy, gaseous nitrous out is to spray it all out. Now if you are going to spray it all out into your intake you will end up fouling out your plugs. If you don't get all of the nitrous out of the line, then the crap nitrous will hit the cylinders along with the extra fuel which will cause you to bog down. This will kill your ETs and you'll be one of those ricers with a 75 shot running 14s.

After the $5,600 race I had with the grandnational, few days later I was suposed to race a turbo B20 integra. I was making a quick test pass with a buddy and blew the motor . It lasted 2 years. One of the injectors took a **** and with a dry kit you know the rest lol. Not badd for stock J-spec. Something new in the works that I am actually gonna put some money into it. Can't let out the secrets just yet but... Lets just say its gonna turn heads. I am actually going post dyno and 1/4 #'s this time.

Interesting points, never heard about that.

Anyways, I guess I am a ricer because I will be running 14's with a 75 shot. Does 6,000ft ASL make me a ricer too?

MD23VTEC: Yeah I've seen what happens when you loose an injector with a 125 dry shot. It's shitty that it blew, but the damn thing paid for itself over the last two years. Good luck with the new project.
FastludeH22: BKR7E not BKR7F. I've never ran the BKR7F's.
Mariowc: I was referring to those of us closer to see level.

Stock h22 with I/H/E with a 100 wet shot with nothing lower then a 100 octane when squeezing. Never retarded the timeing and never had a problem.

You lost $5,600 in a race?!

#1 rule when squeezing: DON'T MIS-SHIFT! Don't learn the hard way.

Question is, would you be willing to sell the blocks or the heads for cheap?

Damn man. I'm trying to resist opening up my block, but if I don't start winning some more races around here I have a feeling I'm going to have to. If you ever want to get rid of some parts shoot me a PM.

Different seat size. The BKR7E's reach 19mm into the cylinder where the F's only reach 9.5mm or 12mm(can't distinguish from the NGK chart) and the F's are a tapered seat.

100 shot dry when it went up. #4 injector took a **** on me.
And it was suposedly 600whp plus but its FWD so the more horsepower it has on the street the better.
