On my 99EX coupe, I have four blank covers on either side of my emergency brake. I'm wanting to make some customizations so that I can turn on the scanner/radio/PA and some other radio-related stuff. Does anyone make switches or inserts that I can put switches into? If you take them out, you will see where I am coming from..

Your looking for switches that will "replace" the stock inserts?

I doubt you'll find that. What you'll have to do is mount the switch of your choice to the factory insert.

Also be carefull with your wiring because you dont want them to get caught in the ebrake cables.

The foglamp switch is (I beleive) the same size as those blanks. The part number for the blanks is 83442-SM4-000ZN, but I couldn't find the PN for the fog lamp blank, so you may be able to use the fog switch. You could just take the blanks out and check. Honda didn't make any other switches for those spots though.

If I were you though, I'd just dremel the blanks and put my own switches in.

 

ya u have to buy switches like he said and drill hole in the stock insert. i did my foglights like that in my EG, but to one of them on the dash.

 

Ya, just drill holes in your existing ones. I ran my remote wire to my amp a while back (before my car was raped). If you decide to go back stock, I think they're like $1.50 from HAP.
