So I've seen these "wide-body" kits for the 88-91 civic hatch. And I'm curious about it. However, I've only been able to see the kits OFF of the car. Well what good does this do me? I'm curious as to what it looks like as I build a show-and-go car just to get a taste for it. Anyone have any pictures or know any links to where I can reach a glimpse at it? Oh yeah, also, is there ANY other wings available to the hatch with the exception of stock, and one that I've seen from japan that you have to go TO japan to get? It needs to be functional, tasteful, and I wanna be able to open my hatch still... Thanks.

if you can answer that it would help get you feedback.

Bump...i would also like to see widebody ef's ..im leaning towards ..like oe style wide fenders and maybe some wider rear quater add-ons...fiberglass?

and it looks like JPstyle wide body kit(nsx wide body is what they call it...I guess)

ya dodge grill mustange hood... looking nice and pretty for the domestic

 

thanks kinda cool looking (orange rex) but i would spend that money on a AEM ems and some internals

 

Sorry if I affend you, but I think that this wide body looks terrible. I would much rather spend the what 1200 and do a swap or something thats usefull.

 

Ick! If I were to do that route, I would do flares before I would do that widebody crap. And Supra tails are so 90s.

I must admit after seeing some kits on, I dont' much like it. I mean it's...different. But it DOES look like a dodge front. I'm a BIGASS dodge fan, but...since when did dodge and honda meet? Also, I don't like how the doors are just...almost like someone pushed them inside the car and not the wide-body part. Like a puzzle-gone-bad or something. I think I'll stick to the mugen/buddy club/wings west style, "modified stock" and MAYBE run a spliter for a little of my own taste. Thanks for findin' pix ya'll! And to those who said sink the money in the engine instead? Bite me, some of us don't need that kinda power. Besides, each to their own civic. Some do style, some do race. If not for both, well...it'd just be bitchy and we wouldn't have argueing grounds between style vs. muscle...right?

 

One more thing. Look at that wicked black-widow'd, wide-bodied, model-beside-it. Now get your eyes off the car and girl...what year do they say that is? I SWEAR they were discontinued

that BW 12 Piece kit retails for more than $1200

the order form i got from GD was $2200+ 700 for S&H so all of it is $2800 and i ordered mine last november. and it's partly installed on my CRX

In my opinion, the only clean kit on an EF are the WW RS kits.
