Default any suggestions on where to look?

so i have my heart set on an eg.... ive been scouring autotrader, cars.com, carsdirect, chicagotribue classifieds, chicago suntimes classifieds, those free used automags at blockbuster, h-t, a few other smaller forums for a few weeks now. and im having trouble finding any. ive increased my maximum distance to travel to get one to 200 miles, and i still can't find anything. ive also loosened up on being trim specific. il take any trim as long as its clean. aside from what i have listed above, what other suggestions do you have in terms of looking for a car? ive even considered driving around w/ a pad of paper leaving my number on any eg that i see, asking if they would consider selling it. of course then theres the fact that i never see eg's around here........ im desperate for any ideas on how to help my quest for my eg.

Wow that sucks. Maybe you should check out Minnesota. I see them all the time in the classifieds. Check out Carsoup.com and type in Zip Code 55107 for MN.

I've brought cars home from as far away as Virginia. I live on the North side of the border from Michigan 12 hour drive one way.

see, i really don't mind driving a bit longer to get the car. but my parents wouldn't have peace of mind if that were the case.... they are unsure about all this used car buying stuff. they wanna be able to check it out one day, and go back and buy it the next.

oh, and a side question. there was an 1992 eg, going for 6000 on autotrader. and right on the advertisement it says "THIS CAR HAS A CLEAN TITLE" and i also called and asked, and the guy said it does indeed have a clear titie. But i ran a carfax, and its salvage title, and rebuilt title. I dunno if this is just a case of they really didn't know, or if maybe their trying to hide it. I would assume that dealerships have good records of the cars they buy.... I really don't want this car anymore, but do you think i should let somebody know about this false advertising?
