Anyone running an obd2 motor in obd1 car?
what did you guys do to make it work? i have a 94 ls and im planning on swapping a 98 gsr motor that is complete. what route should i go?
thanks
thanks
are you good at wiring ? use your harness from your 94 and add the vtec wires on the harness and run them to the ecu . also you would need a 94-95 distributer . ecu wont work so you might want to get a obd1 p72 or a chipped p28 .

These are the only options of ECU he has? I'm running a p61. 92 gsr, 96 b18c1...

no im not good at wiring. is there any disadvantages from wiring than from just getting an obd1 gsr wire harness? thanks for the fast feedback

Well you'll need an engine harness as well as the ecu harness for it. And thats a giant pain in the *** unless you like taking your dash out and changing everything. I would recommend that. But it's a crappy job, and I don't like doing it. Seeing as how all you have to do is run 3 wires, maybe a couple more. I'd just use the LS harness and modify it.

My buddy is going that route with his b16 in his g2. You can try to do a 'hack' job, but it can get nasty(that's how my buddy has it right now, and it is ***).
