For the power you get out of a C5 the weight doesnt matter compared to a D series. Especially if its a 1.5 compared to a 1.8.

here's my situation:
i have the d15 now and i wanna upgrade my suspension this summer and get custom spring rates. i'm gonna get the custom spring rates for the c5. i'll be riding around with the d15b for a year until i swap next summer. would the weight differnce between the two motors affect the ride while i have the spring rates set for the c5?

Are you tracking your car often? If not the weght difference isn't something to worry about.

Oh that explains all the post youve been making lately. Better safe then sorry huh?

Well i think if you go with Integra rate springs on the front youll be fine. I have Skunk2 Coilovers (integra rates) and they feel just fine to me.

Weight difference...blah. Not a problem. Throw on some g/c's with 400f/450 rear give or take with some kyb agx's and youll have a nice inexpensive set-up.
