Default Steering Easier???

I was just wondering is there something different about the steering components between the years? The reason I am asking is because I have been driving my car for about 3-4 months an it has been cool, but my BF just finished swapping in his DOHC ZC and I had it for a day (taking it to the bodyshop for estimates, ended up dropping it off) and his steering is so much smoother than mines. It is almost like he has power steering.

Like for instance backing into a parking spot. In my car I am damn near breaking my arms turning the wheel. And don't let me have to parallel park But in his car it is a breeze. My car is a '91 HB std. and his is a '88 HB std. Pics of his car coming soon.

How low is his car compared to yours? How are the tires?

Our cars are lowered about the same and he bought the GSR rims I had with 195/60/15 tires (in which he is changing) and my wheels are 195/55/15. Both of us are in need of tires though. We are both going with 50 series on the new ones.

Hmmm, how is your tire air pressure? That's all I can think of.

35 psi's. I guess I will see in a few weeks when I get some new tires. I wouldve been this week but due to an @sshole cop, have to pay a $363 speeding ticket. And NOO I wasn't really speeding, the reason for the ticket is a bit more complex.

Thanks for trying to help though

Well, I got pulled over for speeding in a school zone (supposedly) The cop stopped me right before the flashing school zone sign. Mind you this is the same cop that stopped me the day before, for no seat belt, not even 1000 feet from the Honda dealership. I was going there to get the seat belt fixed. He didn't care.

Anyways before writing the ticket, he is looking all in my car while telling me why he stopped me, and he asked me what was the ticket on my console for and I replied "YOU gave me a ticket for seatbelt yesterday" he smiled and went to his patrol car and wrote the ticket. He added 10 mph to the actual speed that I was doing.

The speed limit is 40mph and supposedly in school zone hrs the speed decreased to 25mph. So he wrote on my ticket that I was doing 49mph in a school zone. Making me 24mph over the speed limit

take it to court! i got the infamous CVC22350: driving at an unsafe speed. ha! unsafe speed my ***. took it to court and i was found NOT GUILTY! well i definitely saved around 300 bux, a point on my record and insurance surcharges. of course, the MAIN reason i was pulled over is because of CVC 27151 - excessive exhaust noise. damn ebay. anyway, i only have to pay for the fixing ticket but "sounding fast" doesn't mean i was "driving fast". take it to the judge and they'll hear you out.
oh yeah, i have some sort document that gives you an idea on how to beat a speeding ticket. or any other ticket for that matter.

Check Balljoints, tie-rod ends, and lubricate them!
