Is there a reason my rear mount wont line up?

Hey I recently just changed my clutch and when its assembling time,the bolts for my rear mount wont tighten and the top one wont even line up.Is there a certain position the engine has to be for it to bite?

yes.....you have to line it up....have someone pull up on the intake manifold....that should shift weight...

would it be the same if i just jack the motor?so the back end has to be lifted then

just do whatever you need to do to make it work. pull on motor, lift motor, however it moves the way you need it.
