Did all gs-r's come with leather...just wondering

They sure didn't come with leather in 92. i don't even think i was an option but i'm not 100%. Happy GS-Rinnnnng

no they didnt all come in leather... not even 98+ some still come in cloth... some ugly colorful cloth... why u wanna know anyway????

 

Leather wasn't standard until 2000, it may even have been 99. 98 and below leather was not standard.

 

I have seen a 2nd gen teg Ls with leather... im not sure if he instaled 3rd gen leather seats or not but it had leather.

He either bought them from someone or were installed as an option at the dealership.

 

Front leathers stink, you go sliding around and stuff, back leathers is nice though

 

92-93 did not have leather only se had leather
94-99 it was an option
00-01 it was standard

Yea I know. That is why I got mine with cloth.

 

I thought on gsr it wasn't an option on a 94 and it was on 95+. Then in 98 it became standard. But thats me talking. And I don't blame you if you don't listen.
Probably becuase Ive never seen a 94 with leather and Ive never seen a 98+ without it. Gsr that is.

 

my friends 98 gsr came with ugly blue / black interior that looks like the cloth seats at a restaurant.

Not 100% on this but I think leather was an OPTION on SOME (GS only) '92-'93 tegs.
There is a designation in the VIN for leather, can't remember exactly.
Check the front pages of the helms for your year of teg.
Just checked it.
DA97 is a GS WITH leather. DA96 is without.

 

94- No leather option
95-98 option, but standard on the SE/GS
99-01 GSR had leather standard.

standard on the 96+ GS only. standard on 99-01 GS-R, or 00-01 GS-R in Canada.

 

not all had leather, but mines does its a 95

 

It's 99+. You could still get a 98 with cloth. My 96 has cloth...

both of you are wrong. 92-93 gs-r's had a option for leather, ive seen at least 7-8 gs-r's here in california that are 92-93 that have a leather interior option. Even their usdm armrest is leather and not cloth
