Hey,
I'm looking to isolate a ticking thats being generated from my head, we belive it to be in the lost motion valves.
Since the head needs to come off for this, im planning to have my ITR valve springs and retainers installed, as well as the head studs, and a set of CTR cams (still need to aquire the cams, so any suggestions would be helpul on that matter as well).
My friend knows a shop owner who offered to pull the head, and install everything, as well as do some additional porting/polishing where necessary for around 500-700.
Is that good for head work? High? Low?

sounds like he is charging you for around 8 hrs of work. Don't know how long it should take, but seems reasonable to me, I supose.

 

thats a resonable price to me usually runs $650 for me that if i get it done thru the person i know.
