what you guys use to clean the inside of your windows? i've tried windex but it leaves this slight haze that can be seen when light shines on it or at night. i tried to wipe it really hard but i cant seem to get rid of it!!

 

i just use windex that's supposedly streak free..and wipe it off with a towel carefully removing all streaks.

 

i use a watered down mixture of windex, because my windows are tinted.. but i also spray this anti-fog stuff on my windshield.. it supposed to be for eye glasses, but it works well when its raining!

 

I just use a damp towel.

 

I haven't even washed/waxed my car yet, let alone cleaning it's windows.

I guess i'd use conventional windex or something.

That's a great idea with the anti-fog stuff, where can I get some, what is it called, and am I suppose to apply it on the inside, or outside of the window?

Windex will work fine, and when you're done, apply a nice coat of Rain-X.

Well i cant remember who makes it but its called 20/20 and it works amazing, the windows come spotless.

 

I remember Speedvision had an episode where detailers spray the window with your favorite window cleaner then lightly rub the window with steel wool (highest # possible) then wipe down window with a terry cloth. Do the same for interior since the plastics in the car give off gases which leaves a film on the windows.

 

i've had the same problem, i clean the windows very nicely with windex and a paper towel, but they get the foggy look. i've found wiping vigorously with a terry cloth helps, but there must be a better way. i've heard of people using newspaper somehow???

 

ask those ppl in NYC who come up to your car and start washing the windshield with a dirty news paper.. I knew there was a reason for using the newspaper!!

the one I currently use is Eagle One. but I think any glass cleaner
with no Ammonia is g00d.

Does this stuff damage tint? I've heard that some glass cleaners can damage tint.

 

I think that's why i use the ammonialess ones.

i use the eagle one stuff that is for tinted windows. using newspaper is suppsed to make it streak free. don't know how that works though.
as for those armor all glass wipes. don't use them. they leave a haze on the inside windows after a ccouple days

 

I use newspaper and it works like a charm!! Rain-ex is wonderful to finish it off with.
