Default OT: Good Japanese (Honda/Toyota) mechanic in Seattle/Bellevue/Alderwood, WA?

I'm picking up a(nother) beater. Does anyone know any reputable independent Japanese mechanic in Seattle/Bellevue/Alderwood area? If so, please let me know.

Oh yeah, the beater is AE86... so, I need a mechanic who can wrench on older cars.

How is it ITR related? Well, 'cuz the beater would keep the R safe.

What's wrong with it?

A bolt's a bolt... whether it was made in 86 or 01...

Or do you just not work on cars?

It needs timing belt + accessory belt. And, it's leaking major oil... so gaskets need replaced.

I would work on it, but I have ZERO tools or space in WA. I'm just going there to pick it up (and visit my friends).

Ok, so the guy we used to take our supra to, Ben Howe, is an ex toyota master tech that has his own place now. Its called RalliRound and its right off Eastlake in Seattle. I have a good friend working for him too, who knows his stuff, and they dont charge an arm and a leg. Give them a call and you can mention me if you want to, our car has spent many weeks in that shop with custom installs.

Good luck.

EDIT: He talks A LOT, and that is a major understatement. So have an excuse lined up for why you need to leave the conversation, because he can go on for days about random crap. Only bad thing about him...

BTW here is a pic of the custom front diffuser he made out of aluminum to direct airflow to the upper half of our intercooler. We call him the mad scientist.

Thanks for the info, Marshall.

I should be there sometime in mid-june and take a cross country journey in the beater.
